Description:
In Kabul, a city rebuilding after decades of war, taxi driver Khaled picks up a woman and baby veiled in a blue burka. After a fare is paid, they drive to their destination. The woman exits, and a new passenger enters, leaving the baby in the backseat. Khaled rushes after the woman, but she disappears. He's left with the 6-month-old boy and questions the mother's identity and whereabouts. Seeking help from acquaintances, he returns to the pickup spot, finding no trace. Suddenly responsible for this new life, Khaled navigates the chaotic streets of a city striving to revive after 25 years of conflict. Barmak Akram’s debut film is a poignant and vibrant story of a man's emotional journey in a city rediscovering life.
