Detective Agency: Face of the Gnome is the third installment in a Korean series of melodrama, crime, and thriller films. The series began with Detective Agency - Love and War in 2016. A man named Jin approaches a detective agency, asking Hyun-chae to investigate his wife's suicide, believing it's connected to a past event involving Seonyun. While visiting the South, Hyun Jung discovers the camp is concealing information. He connects with Jinhui, a college acquaintance and psychotherapist, suspecting hypnosis played a role. Persuading the camp, Hyun-jung confronts Jin-hee, a hypnosis specialist, meticulously reconstructing the events of that day, ultimately leading to the truth being revealed.
