Description:
At fifteen, Mooky's father dies unexpectedly, and Yanek takes his place. Yanek is a complicated man, known for both his impulsiveness and generosity, but also for controversial actions during the Holocaust with the Zonder Commando. He violently disrupts Mooky’s life. As a teenager, Mooky navigates unrequited love and controlling relationships while his seductive mother, Tinka, influences him. Eventually, Mooky returns to his mother's home in a disturbed state and commits an irreversible act. Twenty years later, he must decide whether to attend his mother's funeral and confront the painful memories of his past.
