Description:
This is the story of Karodimal, a loan shark who preys on vulnerable people, particularly young women. Poornima, a teacher, becomes one of his victims. Balraj tries to stop Karodimal's harmful activities but is wrongly imprisoned for murder while attempting to save Poornima from an assault. Before going to jail, Balraj entrusts his son Raj to Poornima. Karodimal then blames Poornima. To survive, Poornima leaves for the city and becomes a prostitute, using her earnings to educate Raj. She later gives her own daughter Laxmi to a servant in the village. Balraj escapes from prison, kills Karodimal, and goes to the city to find Raj and Poornima. Raj ends up in his friend Sunil's village and falls in love with Laxmi. Sunil discovers his love interest Champa has run away to the city with Raj.
