"Children of Islam" follows three boys and three girls, all originally from the Middle East and now living in Sweden. They hold diverse perspectives on Islam, integration, the world, and their place in Swedish society. Some adhere to Sharia law, while others challenge traditional Islamic roles. The group includes a hip-hop artist, someone who considers music sinful, a woman who believes in patriarchal tradition, and a woman fighting for women's rights. There's also a boxer and someone who works an ordinary job. Several are monitored by the Security Police. The documentary explores religion, culture, conflict, and the search for identity in a transforming Sweden.
