Description:
A train arrives at Copenhagen Central Station, and 16-year-old Dorte disembarks. She is traveling to find someone near Svanemøllen. There, in a grand villa, lives Asger Haensen, a prominent director who heads a large company in Copenhagen. He resides with his children, Margot and Steen, and lives a lavish lifestyle, including with a glamorous girlfriend. One evening, Dorte arrives at the director's door with a letter for him. The letter reveals that Dorte is the result of a youthful indiscretion by Asger. Consequently, Dorte stays at the house, disrupting its elegant atmosphere with her spirited personality and bringing a new energy to the family.
