Maybe (2006)

In March 2003, a young Basque poet and four friends – three musicians and an artist – arrived in New York City for a series of bilingual poetry and music performances. Poet Kirmen Uribe asks, in *AGIAN / MAYBE*, what a community so small it could fit into a single New York neighborhood has to offer the world, especially in a city like New York. The five friends were surprised by what they found there. *AGIAN / MAYBE* explores the origins of their project, which began in New York in 2003, and considers the histories behind it. It’s a musical exploration of these histories and a speculation on what might happen next.
