Description:
This film explores the life and work of Zbigniew Ziembinski (1908-1978), a pivotal figure in modern theater in Latin America and a highly influential director for Brazilian actors. Using a rich collection of previously unseen footage – including performances, television appearances, and interviews – the film reconstructs elements of Ziembinski's groundbreaking 1943 adaptation of Nelson Rodrigues' play *Wedding Dress*. The footage spans his life before and after his escape from Poland just before the Warsaw invasion.
