Truths: A Stream (2000)

Four years after their breakup, Kyoko is unexpectedly visited by her ex-boyfriend Shunichi, who asks her to die with him. She agrees, struggling between a longing for freedom and the feeling of being trapped as her father's political secretary. Kyoko and Shunichi travel to a secluded plot of land in the mountains, once owned by Kyoko's grandfather. There, in the wilderness, they begin to consider making their final weeks meaningful, seeking something to enrich their lives before they die.
