The New Boys (2003)

This film explores the social dynamics within Foot House, a dormitory at Doon School for new boys. It opens just before the boys arrive, showing their arrival and the challenges of bringing their belongings inside. The story follows them over the next two months. Compared to the group in "With Morning Hearts," these boys appear more fractured and aware of social class. The group includes a variety of personalities and backgrounds – some are leaders, others are targets of teasing, some are argumentative, while others try to mediate. A key element is their conversations about aggression, war, homesickness, food, and even communicating with ghosts.
