Description:
In 2003, American soldiers detained Iraqi journalist Yunis Abbas at Abu Ghraib prison, suspecting him of plotting to assassinate Tony Blair. He was completely innocent. The following months saw a series of confusing events, during which Yunis experienced a profound understanding of freedom. His story is presented through footage by co-director Michael Tucker, home videos of Yunis, and illustrations by co-director Petra Epperlein.
