Description:
In Tamsui, college student Gei lives with his mother Zhen Ying. His father, a nineties music idol named Bone, vanished 24 years ago, leaving behind only a song that wasn't finished. Zhen Ying forbids Gei from playing guitar or pursuing rock music because of this, causing frequent clashes between them. Despite his own financial struggles, Gei consistently tries to help his friends, even secretly using his mother’s belongings to secure a loan for one. After a drunken night and a confrontation with his mother and girlfriend, Gei rescues a man from the Tamsui River who bears a striking resemblance to his father. Bone's unexpected reappearance dramatically alters the family dynamic, as he persistently urges Gei to assist him in altering the past.
