Mendilim Kekik Kokuyor (2020)

In a town in Anatolia, Hasan and his cousin Yusuf both fall in love with a woman named Elif. Elif reciprocates the feelings of one of the brothers but keeps her affections a secret. As all able-bodied men are summoned to the Çanakkale Front, Yusuf decides to confess his love to Elif, revealing that Hasan loves someone else, and takes a handkerchief she made for him. The three men and other volunteers head to war and meet Karagöz Puppeteer Rüstem Çavuş and Eftal from Istanbul. During the campaign, several volunteers are killed in an attack at Anzac, and Hasan, Yusuf, Çopur, Rüstem Çavuş, and Eftal are captured and taken to a prisoner-of-war camp.
