Description:
The Balkans are home to Europe's final untouched rivers and thriving wildlife. These rivers, known as "The Undamaged," are clean, pristine, and free from dams. However, over 2,700 planned hydroelectric projects threaten to destroy these last free-flowing waterways, driven by corruption and greed. "The Balkan Rivers Tour" follows a group of kayakers, filmmakers, photographers, and friends as they travel from Slovenia to Albania for 36 days. They kayak 23 rivers across six countries to protest the proposed dams and reveal the Balkans' hidden wild rivers to the world.
