Description:
In the quiet, provincial town of Zhigulyovsk, a thousand kilometers south-east of Moscow, Tatiana and her daughter Valentina navigate everyday life. Valentina, 22, works at a vodka factory, harboring a dream of becoming a TV star in Moscow, while Tatiana, 50, is a bus conductor. Valentina faces obstacles both within herself and from her colleagues at the factory. Tatiana confronts disappointment when a potential partner proves unreliable. Meanwhile, both women grapple with plans for Valentina’s son, forcing them to reconsider their own aspirations. Ultimately, one of them will have to sacrifice a dream for the sake of the family.
