Los resistentes (2009)

This film chronicles the stories of those involved in the underground resistance movement from 1955 to 1965. Triggered by bombings in Buenos Aires on June 16th and the military coup of September 16, 1955, ordinary people rallied to defend the Perón government. This sparked an extraordinary, challenging struggle against a brutal dictatorship known as the "Liberating Revolution," later called the "Fusiladora." Now, over 70 years later, these individuals remember their fight and continue to identify as resisters.
