2055 (2021)

In 2055, a man has voluntarily lived in isolation within an institution for four decades, choosing when to allow sunlight into his room. His solitude is disrupted by a repairman checking phones on the other side of the glass, leading to a conversation. After forty years of being cut off, how does 2055 respond to hearing a human voice again? And does he still feel connection when he makes eye contact with someone?
