Relativity (2002)

This is a darkly comedic and playful exploration of a family falling apart and the strange nature of modern life. Inspired by Rashomon, the film presents three different accounts of a small home mishap, given by seven-year-old Cielle, her mother Marcia, and Marcia's new boyfriend Frank. Each version offers a unique perspective on the event, leaving the audience to question what really happened. Award-winning and festival-touring, it has been recognized at Berlinale (Winner: Best Short Film) and nominated for European Film Academy Awards, and has played in Rome, St Petersburg, Drama, Foyle, Geneva, and Tampere.
