Contemporary (2017)

The film uses a metaphorical approach to explore the evolution of contemporary Latvian art within its modern context. It follows a single artwork as it reaches an audience, weaving together a consistent set of characters along the way. Each artwork builds upon the previous one, branching into new directions, much like parallel scenes in a movie combine to form a larger narrative – the film itself.
