Lacerate (2020)

*Lacerate* is a film that mixes realistic storytelling with dreamlike symbolism, following a woman's transformation from victim to perpetrator. Shot entirely in natural light, the film presents a domestic setting consumed by restless dogs that disrupt the home, attacking objects. The house itself represents a fractured mind, violated and scarred. Arrangements of fruit, game, and food evoke still lifes, using allegorical imagery to explore themes of life's fragility and lost innocence.
