Description:
This animated film retells the classic Chinese story of Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai. In the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Zhu Yingtai, a woman from a privileged family, yearned for education, a pursuit forbidden to girls. Her family agreed to let her study, but only if she disguised herself as a man. There, she befriended the handsome Liang Shanbo, and they quickly became close, vowing brotherhood. For three years in Hangzhou, Yingtai concealed her true identity from "Brother Liang." However, her feelings for him deepened into love, and she found herself consumed by a desire to spend her life with him.
