This film chronicles the work of a little-known investigative committee within the Florida State Legislature, active from 1956 to 1964. The committee's mission was to identify homosexual teachers and students at state universities, and it achieved this by successfully firing or expelling over 200 individuals suspected of being gay or lesbian. The story is told through the perspectives of two individuals who were targeted by the committee and one person who interrogated them, all sharing their experiences for the first time. The film concludes with a 50-year reunion between one of the victims and their former interrogator.
