Description:

Vulkanovka is a remote village in the Crimean steppe, often feeling isolated. The community experienced a surge of activity when Lithuanian film director Sharunas Bartas and his crew spent nearly two years filming "Seven Invisible Men" there, with many locals offering significant assistance. After the film crew departed, life in Vulkanovka settled back into its familiar pace. However, the experience resonated with some. Nine months later, film director Giedre Beinoriute and her team arrived to document the village. In their documentary, the residents enthusiastically recount their "cinematographic" experience, describing how it differed from their previous perceptions of filmmaking. The film captures the unique atmosphere and openness of the people, blending it with the everyday rituals of Vulkanovka – feeding crows, shopping at the local store, and collecting scrap metal.
