The film opens with a static shot resembling security footage of a shopping mall entrance. People enter and exit the revolving doors of these ubiquitous consumer spaces found in suburban areas. Individuals, alone or in groups, leisurely stroll or hurry past, with carts empty or full. Mothers, children, hundreds of people cycle through this relentless, dizzying movement day after day. Superimposition and transparency effects enhance the feeling of a ghostly, indifferent, and unending flow.
