Farewell Regent (2019)

Farewell Regent is a 90-minute documentary following the Regent Park community of Toronto, Canada – the birthplace of social housing in the country – as it undergoes North America's largest redevelopment project. The community is transforming from 100% social housing to a mixed-income area with condos significantly outnumbering social housing units. The film features interviews with former and current residents, city officials, developers, and housing advocates, offering an intimate look at the intricate issues, emotions, and challenges inherent in this extensive redevelopment.
