Description:
Inspired by Samuel Beckett's 'Waiting for Godot,' two actors from Calcutta travel to the Maha Kumbh of Allahabad in 2013 – a massive Hindu festival held every twelve years. They seek Kalki, the elusive tenth and final avatar of Lord Vishnu, who is prophesied to appear on Earth but has never been found. Their search coincides with a large-scale war, and they prepare for what lies ahead by studying Chairman Mao's 'Little Red Book.'
