Description:
Set in the early 1980s, *The Crop* follows Ronnie "Blade" Gillette, a mischievous nightclub owner, and his barmaid girlfriend Geraldine. Two months after random breath testing begins, Blade discovers his business is failing. With customers avoiding his bar due to concerns about driving under the influence, they instead gather in the parking lot to smoke marijuana. Seeing an opportunity, Blade decides to grow marijuana as a way to solve his financial problems. A plan for diversification and expansion is born.
