Headhunter’s Song: The Cry of the Aboriginal People of Taiwan (2005)

Kao Chin Su-mei, a Taiwanese legislator and former actress from the Tayal tribe, joins forces with the Taiwan Aborigine Workgroup and the aboriginal music group Feijuyuenbao Synectics to advocate for the return of their ancestors' remains from Japan. Their plea is direct: they feel it is unacceptable that ancestral souls remain in Japan, emphasizing their distinct identity as Taiwanese people, not Japanese.
