Description:
Thessaloniki, October 1949. Although the Greek Civil War is officially over, deep divisions remain among the people. Antonis, owner of the tavern "Makedonikon," has avoided political involvement. However, unsettling news stirs up a traumatic memory from his childhood. As the war, the decade, and an era conclude, a band of musicians plays their final traditional rembetika songs.
