Description:
Hiyori (Kei Tanaka) is an ornithologist, and his wife Rinko (Miki Nakatani) leads the country's minority opposition party. One morning, before Hiyori departs for a ten-day bird-watching trip to a remote island, Rinko asks if he would mind if she became prime minister. Hiyori then undertakes his isolated expedition. Upon his return, Rinko has indeed become prime minister, the first woman to hold the position in Japan. Suddenly, Hiyori finds himself unexpectedly in the role of the nation's first gentleman, and resolves to support his wife, but becomes involved in unforeseen events.
