Description:
Kellou, a fisherwoman in her forties living in Bol, the capital of Sahel province, has inherited her profession from her mother. But the shrinking Lake Chad has made fishing increasingly difficult, threatening her livelihood. After a poor catch, Kellou's 12-year-old daughter Mouna suggests collecting plastic bags from the lake and turning them into ropes to sell. This simple act allows Kellou to address plastic pollution and adapt to the changing environment.
