Caravan of Death (2000)

In 1973, a month after Pinochet took control of Chile, a helicopter flew north and returned four days later with 71 people dead. The event, known as the Caravan of Death, raises questions about who ordered it and the fate of the victims. Twenty-seven years later, Pinochet is on trial. Filmed undercover with Judge Juan Guzman, the documentary explores whether the Chilean justice system will acknowledge the pain of the families of those executed and disappeared, who desperately seek answers and remembrance.
