The Inspirator (2001)

The Inspirator is an immersive installation featuring projected video, a mirrored fountain, and a glitter ball. The video shows a person in a panda costume playing the trumpet in a forest. They emerge from a burst of glitter to perform a short, poorly synced musical piece before retreating back into the forest. This footage loops continuously and is projected within a circular frame, framed by the room's walls. The room itself is painted dark green. A fountain filled with water amplifies the sound through built-in speakers, adding to the installation’s auditory experience. The soundtrack was specially composed by Matty Skylab.
