Marlene (2020)

Marlene is inspired by the true story of Marlene Truscott, a woman who dedicated her life to proving her husband's innocence after he was wrongly convicted of a crime. Marlene became involved in his fight for justice early on, when he was arrested at 14 and sentenced to death. After his release from prison ten years later, they reunited and fell in love. Marlene’s journey is one of living in hiding under a false identity to protect her children, while relentlessly pursuing justice for Steven. Though he was free, she faced imprisonment. Throughout it all, Marlene remained determined to uncover the truth hidden beneath layers of lies, cover-ups, and secrets contained within countless files.
