Dersaadet Apartment (2020)

Altan, a physics professor who spent years working on green energy in America, returns to Istanbul, the city of his youth, after a family tragedy. He finds a drastically changed Istanbul, dominated by construction and noise. His childhood apartment building, Dersaadet, is slated for demolition to make way for a new residence. Altan fights to save the family home, guided by the voice of Deren on the radio and a turtle that survived the construction site, prompting him to reconsider the true meaning of "home."
