NOT STILL (2008)

NOT STILL presents a monochrome, abstract visual world shifting from green to red, where found footage on film seems to emerge from another dimension. Alienated classical music blends with a minimalist techno soundscape, echoing the record's main theme across its various visual forms. VJ Roisz manipulates this material with unrestrained energy, mirroring the DJ's treatment of records. He intercuts brief glimpses of film close-ups, animated sequences, and horror films, only to have them abruptly consumed again. Like a séance of increasing intensity, fragments of pop culture history flicker into view. NOT STILL creates a disturbing yet poetic collision of media.
