Description:
A group of bus drivers in Dorset form an amateur dramatics group and decide to stage a serious adaptation of the sci-fi horror film *Alien*. They spend a year crafting the show, finding creative ways to pay tribute to the original. The initial performance is a disaster, but they get a second chance when they're unexpectedly offered a single performance in a West End theatre. As they grapple with the fact that their serious production is now being perceived as a comedy, the crew prepares for their debut, facing wobbly sets, awkward acting, and unreliable special effects. Will this unlikely team of space heroes pull off a successful West End show?
