Waiting for Charlotte Corday (2016)

This is the story of a young man pursuing his dream of becoming an artist. He knew from childhood he wanted to paint, but realized he needed formal education to achieve his goal. With determination, he earns a place at the country's top school, a privilege usually reserved for the wealthy. As the only student from humble origins, he struggles to fit in with his affluent classmates, who largely ignore him. The demanding academic environment makes it hard to focus, and he faces isolation as he tries to pursue his aspirations. Can he overcome these obstacles and finish school? Will he ever find connection?
