Jules and Mia feel trapped, constantly trying to change their lives and break free from a stagnant existence. They repeatedly seek intimacy, but reality always intrudes, pulling them back into their personal struggles. "Oysters Without a Shell" is a semi-fictional look at these two women, exploring their hopes and anxieties, the challenges of their generation, and Berlin, a city struggling to define itself alongside them.
