Description:
For generations, Inuit communities in the Arctic have thrived on the frozen ocean. Now, with climate change rapidly melting the sea ice between Canada and Greenland, the world sees a chance for profit. Oil, gas, faster shipping, tourism, and fishing offer strong financial reasons to exploit these newly accessible waters. But this development threatens the way of life of over 100,000 Inuit people. It endangers the balance between their communities, their land, and the animals they depend on. After facing colonization and hardship for decades, Inuit in Canada and Greenland are uniting to protect what's left of their world. The question is whether anyone will listen.
