Description:
Genoa, 2001. After the G8 Summit's conclusion, 300 riot police raided the Diaz School searching for Black Block members. Instead, they encountered young European activists – students, teenagers, and journalists – who had gathered there to stay. The police responded with a brutal, unprovoked attack, indiscriminately beating everyone present. The seriously injured were taken to hospitals, but were soon transferred to detention centers with the arrested, where they faced further abuse.
