Omar Marzouk's comedy show, "War, Terror and Other Funny Things," sold out audiences in Denmark in 2005, drawing over 15,000 viewers to its 90-minute performance at Det Ny Teater, which was later released on DVD. The controversial and hilarious show has since played to full houses at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the world's largest comedy event, and received positive reviews from British newspapers. This fall, Marzouk performed three shows at London's Soho Theater and was featured prominently in Time Out. His satirical perspective on war and terror is also gaining attention in the US, with interviews appearing in News Week and the Los Angeles Times.
