Pavarotti & Friends Collection: The Complete Concerts, 1992-2000 (1992)

Each year, Pavarotti organized "Pavarotti and Friends," benefit concerts in his native Modena, Italy. He invited a wide range of musical stars – including Andrea Bocelli, Jon Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, Bono, James Brown, Mariah Carey, Eric Clapton, Sheryl Crow, Céline Dion, Elton John, Deep Purple, Queen, George Michael, Sting, and the Spice Girls – to support various United Nations charities. The concerts benefited War Child and those affected by war and conflict in Bosnia, Guatemala, Kosovo, and Iraq. Following the Bosnian War, Pavarotti funded and founded the Pavarotti Music Centre in Mostar, Bosnia, providing a platform for local artists to hone their talents. In recognition of his work, Sarajevo honored him as an honorary citizen in 2006.
