Description:
To me, the way raindrops distort the landscape into fleeting, upside-down images is pure magic. As they grow, they become streams, pulsing like luminous quicksilver. I shot this film with a vintage 16mm camera from the 1960s and film stock that was at least a decade old. It was filmed on a balcony under an awning while my wife and son slept soundly inside, undisturbed even by thunder. - Jeff Scher
