Description:
Hong Jiantao appears to be a successful man with a comfortable life – a bungalow, a luxury car, and a seemingly easy existence. However, this carefully constructed image is largely the creation of his wife. After seven years of marriage, their relationship deteriorates. Jiantao begins an affair, which his wife discovers. She hires a private investigator to gather evidence of their affair, intending to use it to force him to leave. To prevent her from using the evidence against him, Jiantao hires a thief to steal it. The thief is apprehended by the police during the theft, escalating the divorce proceedings and making an amicable separation increasingly difficult.
