Description:
Count Rambow has lost his fortune and is now living with his three daughters, Beate, Marie, and Annette. His only hope is for them to marry back into wealth, so when three suitors appear, they are carefully considered. Everything proceeds as planned until Duchess de Groos wants her son to marry Beate. The desperate count immediately agrees. But Beate is in love with someone else, and now the girls must unite to each get the one they love. A stellar cast stars in this musical comedy, "The Three Little Girls," based on Walter Kollo's 1927 operetta. Directed by Ebbe Langberg, the film features Poul Bundgaard, Susse Wold, Malene Schwartz, Daimi, Ove Sprogøe, Bodil Udsen, Karl Stegger, and Langberg's 26-year-old brother, Jesper Langberg. It’s a delightful comedy and an impressive production, released on DVD in Nordisk Film's centenary year.
