Conversation With An Alien (2001)

Archaeologist Smith discovers a long-lost alien spacecraft containing valuable artifacts and the severely wounded, but living, alien captain. Smith subsequently develops unusual psychic powers and holds the alien captive in his lab. He begins abducting people and conducting strange experiments on them. One of the captives teams up with the alien captain to defeat Smith by calling for assistance from other worlds.
