Description:
In April 1974, a long-standing dictatorship ended, ushering in a new democracy amidst significant social and political upheaval. The upheaval dramatically alters the lives of one family when the armed wing of a leftist group intervenes. The father vanishes, the mother rejects their history, and the son is left with lingering questions. Years later, Pedro seeks answers, guided by his eccentric grandmother. He uncovers clues and encounters people who prefer to stay hidden, embarking on a journey from Portugal into Spain through the empty landscapes of Alentejo. Pedro's quest for truth leads him to self-discovery, but not without consequence.
