Description:
Set against the backdrop of Russia, America, and Japan, the film follows Vladimir Ognev, the son of Russian immigrants. In the early 2000s, he's living and studying in the USA, enjoying a successful scientific career and a fulfilling personal life. Following the completion of his dissertation, Vladimir is approached by a UN special department to analyze a hypothetical scenario: how humanity would react to the discovery of long-standing contact with an alien civilization. As he delves deeper into the scenario, Vladimir begins to suspect it's far from theoretical. He soon discovers the fate of Earth may rest on his findings.
