Description:
Bunky Blum is bullied at school. His only respite is lunchtime with his mentally ill mother, where they eat at McDonald's and visit Train, an 83-year-old talking train now displayed as a monument in a children's park. Bunky believes Train will break free and rescue him from his tormentors. When he discovers the train isn't magical, Bunky loses all hope and has a breakdown. He punches a girl in a wheelchair and is overwhelmed in a fight. His mother witnesses this and experiences her own outburst, leading to her return to the hospital. Alone and without support, Bunky seeks solace from Train, hoping for vengeance. Instead, the train offers him quiet peace.
